View Extended OSPF Statistics for a Brouter Port

Use statistics to help you monitor Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) performance. You can also use statistics in troubleshooting procedures.

About this task

This command provides values for brouter port implementations. For IP protocol-based VLAN interface statistics, use View the OSPF Interface Statistics.

Procedure

  1. To enter User EXEC mode, log on to the switch.
  2. Display extended OSPF information about the specified port or for all ports:

show ports statistics ospf extended [{sub-port]][,...][slot/all][all]}]

Example

Display extended OSPF information:

Switch:1>enable
Switch:1#show ports statistics ospf extended

Variable Definitions

Use the data in the following table to use the show ports statistics ospf extended command.

Variable

Value

{slot/port[/sub-port][-slot/port[/sub-port]][,...][slot/all][all]}

Identifies the slot and port in one of the following formats:
  • a single slot and port (slot/port)

  • a range of slots and ports (slot/port-slot/port)

  • a series of slots and ports (slot/port,slot/port,slot/port)

  • all ports on the same slot (slot/all)

  • all ports on the switch (all)

If the platform supports channelization and the port is channelized, you must also specify the sub-port in the format slot/port/sub-port.
